Polden Hills Veterinary Centre Open Day – 31 May 2026
The Labrador Rescue Trust was delighted to attend the Polden Hills Veterinary Centre Open Day and Dog Show this year.
Although only in its second year, the event was well supported and provided a fantastic opportunity to meet members of the public and share information about the work of TLRT. We were also pleased to be alongside The Cinnamon Trust, who made wonderful neighbours throughout the day.
Our canine ambassadors, Rose, Maverick and later Hollie, helped attract plenty of visitors to our stand. Maverick even joined in the fun and came away with a rosette! Our ever popular ‘Prize Every Time’ games were a big hit with visitors of all ages and helped raise valuable funds for the Charity.
Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we raised £81 to support Labradors in need and spoke to many people about adopting, fostering and volunteering. We were delighted to be invited back for next year’s event and are already looking forward to returning.
A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered and to everyone who stopped by to support us.
