Charity Awareness Day – Burnham-on-Sea
What a fabulous Labrador Rescue Trust Charity Awareness Day we had in Burnham-on-Sea on 28th July.
Lots of our rehomed Labradors brought their owners down to meet up and say hello and the whole day had a very friendly family vibe. Â It was lovely to see so many of the rehomed dogs looking settled having trained their new owners so well.
During the day we, of course, attracted other Labrador owners, who were interested to hear about our work and their dogs really enjoyed the wonderful ‘pup’ cakes that one of our volunteers kindly made.  As it was so hot we may have seen less people than we could have, but we sold lots of TLRT summer raffle tickets, raised lots of awareness and raised £77 in donations which is fantastic.
Thank you to Annette, Spencer and Trev for all their help and it was really nice to see lots of LRT volunteers who travelled a fair way to say hello too.
Looking forward to doing another one in the future.
